Quite the website there -- Camaro King? I sincerely hope this is a valid inquiry and not a spammed ad.

After looking at some of them, they do like decent prices. But I don't know how authentic the cars are. I've never heard of a "two-tone" leather interior on WS6's and all the cars I looked at had them (and those goofy looking embroirdered headrests). It seems they put all new leather covers on these cars. I'd want to get a mechanic I trust to look at them to make sure they were the real deal ( not hiding any secrets).

Robert is alright. His cars are clean. He does a lot of clones, but represents them as such. He cleans them up pretty good and yes, he does reupholster a lot of the cars he restores and likes to add stripes and body kits as well.

Thats what I thought. I saw a few T/A's that were said to be WS6's with ram air hoods that didn't have the proper decal on the air cleaner lid (ie "PONTIAC" and "RAM AIR") , also noticed most of them didn't have Hurst shift knobs, and many WS6's had the Hurst shifter option. I'm not against a guy doing some cleaning up and some artistic liscense with some things, but I'd definately run the vin to make sure I was getting what I am thinking I'm getting.

I called camaro king about 2 years ago to ask questions about an ss camaro specifically about the 345 hp slp package. Not sure who i spoke to but they told me they can add an slp airlid to any car to make it the 345 hp package car. their cars seem clean but have too much crap added on that was never from the factory. Also over priced. IMO

Those cars all have a lot of added flash.
I looked at a few. Most look too clean. New seat covers, carpet, paint, added decals. All the cosmetics. There didn't seem to be much in the way of performance upgrades. Stock air box lids even.
Apparently the owner has a reputation of restoring late model cars. You have to wonder what was wrong with the car that it needed all this work done. They have a few shops around here that do this same type of work to flood recovery cars. Not saying that is the case in this situation, but use caution.

If you have a solid car without much damage or rust that might be your best option. There are a ton of parts available for these cars.
That way you can make it exactly what you want.

I kinda like the two toned interior. Maybe the guys is trying to make his different from all the rest.

I admit that it did catch my eye. But the problem for me, if I was a potential buyer, is I ask myself why it was changed and what else has been changed and why.
