What to do with my 600 tax returns?
I have 2000 A4 WS6 T-Top, that is completely stock. I am getting 600 in taxes back and i want to use it all to mod my T/A. What should do first and where should i buy these mods from, eventually i want to get into the 11's in the 1/4 mile? any extra information when modding these LS1's is appreciated since i am new to them. Also what are some good only websites that i can buy performance parts and not get ripped off..?

black- 2000 nhra edition formula
save up another 400, and get yourself a tci 3000 rpm stall converter, trans cooler, shift kit, labor and tune for around 1k.
youll easily shave .5 second off your e.t
above is if your an automatic.2000 nhra edition formula

if you don't want any of that (which i recommend being the best step since u have an A4). I would recommend getting a Lid ($100) and a cheaper Catback ($360-400)
All the sponsors here are great, just click ont their adds. Personally i look at ls1speed.com and ws6store.com
BTW, getting to the 11's of course a great goal, but you'll probably need $6000 not $600... gotta start somewhere though. I would start of with nhraformula's suggestion or just get a lid, filter and catback1999 Trans Am M6

I am thinking of going with a lid and catback system that sounds nice and will also sound nice when i get headers, any suggestions. by nice i mean a deep tone thats not raspy and obnoxious.

Ur gonna want to get a "quieter" catback for when you get ur LT's. The rasp will be worse if you go ORY, but the power is worth it. I would recommend hooker or magnaflow if you want bang for buck. SLP loudmouth won't sound good. Gmmg and corsa and borla are nice, but more $. I have pacesetter headers, ory and the magnaflow cb. I love the sound, it's only slightly raspy due to the ory.

I also had 600 bucks, which went into the car.
Got myself LT headers,ory,cut-out,extensions. All for a few cents over 600 after shipping. Worth considering

I love my GMMG with LTs.
Heres a dyno vid that you can check out the sound. It was just with a regular camera so the sound isnt the best but you'll get the idea.

NewLS1, if you don't get the stall.. I would get the magnaflow CB, lid and SFC.
3.73 gears would help too, but that would make a much bigger difference if you get the stall too.
