sounds like you can get a head and cam setup, a 12bolt, and upgrade the tranny if you have an a4. Hell you can build your own lq9 or 402 with that money. Shit go on a nice vacation.

I would personally get a Procharger then use the remaining 1k as a down payment on a 12 bolt.

I had a 7.5" rear end w/4:11 and ran 12.30's for 5 years (in a Monte Carlo) with Mickey Thompson ET streets at the track and never broke a rear end so a 12 bolt or a 9" would be the last thing on my list. I would buy a crate engine or a super charger if I had 8K.

He's already got LT's which is why I recommended a Procharger. I'm not sold on the maggie due to cutting the cowl.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
The APS kit is great....for a mostly stock car. Very clean install, works great.
That said, I wouldn't put it on my car, even if it was stock or near it.

My issue with turbo(s) for Slowass is that I have so much into the exhaust already.
I plan on going ProCharger for Slowass by spring 2010.
We'll see how that pans out.2008 Trailblazer SS
