Got a 2001 WS6 with 24,900 miles on it about a month ago for $21,000. Got $10,000 for my 02 Firebird I traded in so ended up costing 11 grand. Well worth it, amazing how many more people point/look at your car. I can see where all my moneys going to be going now

You should be able to get him to 19. Especially if it's not modded at all. But then again if it's not modded it's almost worth more being orignal. I'm guessing he's the first owner too and there's always something to say about that. I wouldn't go over the 21k for it though unless there's something really special about it that's not in his ad. You have to decide if you want to keep it stock for collectability or mod it for grins. If you want to mod it it's worth less and if you want it stock it's worth more. If you want to do mods you should find a cheaper base 01 or 02 TA and go crazy with the money you'd save on insurance. I sold my 02 WS6 because I couldn't bring my self to hack up a somewhat special car with mods and I saved about 110 bucks every 3 months from insurance being 1 year older and not having the WS6 package. And that's not to mention value difference that bought my nice wheels, tires, springs and shocks! Good luck on your hunt!

Actually dealers are kinda funny this way. If you trade in a car that has mods, they tell you it's worth nothing. So I tell them that's ok I was planning on taking it all off anyway before the actual sale. Then they were backpedaling and flustered because they know the little extras will bring a premium from the right buyer. Assholes.
