ive been lucky so far and its just now happend and it wasnt even that bad. im guessing that GM put better nylon gears in 98 lol im thinking the grinding was more from debree then stripped gears cause it wouldnt always do it. ill do the passenger one when it goes out. i actually could have done the 180 degree trick and probaly would have worked too but i just got the brass one to call it a day. was a PITA though to get that back mounting nut and bolt.

The guy I bought my car from had installed new motors on mine. He put the pivoting arm on backwards and the first time I threw up the lights it shredded the gear in the motors... Thanks dumbass! I found that popping them up when you have the two bolts on the support removed made it much easier to do.

Lowering springs came in. Ordered my adjustable PHB and LCA relocation brackets from Founders Performance. As soon as the weather warms up, the rear bearings are coming out, new PHB, LCA relocations brackets and lowering springs are getting installed. Anyone in the market for a "Like New" PHB from Founders Performance? Installed it last year and I'm sure it didn't even see the road.

Realized what the reflective tape was for. Now there's no more glow from the top or bottom!
