west wing front spoiler expansion issues

Has this ever happened to anyone else with the West Wing front spoiler: When the car is out in the sun baking the front end (car shows etc), the spoiler looks like it expands and pulls away from the bumper and you get a gap where the body tape is and eventually hangs off of the bumper?
Anyone know a fix that works? we have tried doubling up on tape, shimming the attachment in front of the front tires to tighten it, brackets etc.

    Sunset Orange
    Two, 2002 WS6 Trans Ams

Thumbs up I had the same problem

OK i had the same problem i have a sunset orange 02 ws6 trans am only i was using the firebird front ground effect because i prefer the look of the firebird one on the trans am better. the firebird one fits on worse than the trans am one so if this worked for me it should deff. work for u what i did was i took a heat gun and heated it up with the best double sticky tape i could find and kinda heated it up and held it there till i felt good about it after it feels really really snug now u can leave it anywhere in the sun and it wont budge. ive even hit unlucky animals and it didnt move at all.
    i hope that helps.
