I had a blown intake and head gaskets on my truck and it had no noticeable performance issues.

When I popped the intake and heads it looked like someone had dumped a couple of bottles of mustard into them. Two-piece intakes are such a bastard to clean in case you were wondering.

Is there a write up on swapping out the head gaskets? And on a scale 1 to 10 how hard is it and time consuming, 1 being a quick half hour fix and 10 being a 2 days project.

    10. Mostly just time consuming. Not super hard though.

It's a time consuming process, if you get it done in two days you would be lucky. Youíll want to take your time, and some pictures during the removal of everything....unless you have one of those steel trap memoriesÖ.I donít. Pull the plugs and inspect each one, this may help you identify which side has the leak. Taking apart both would suck. The cylinder(s) which have a leak MAY yield a spark plug that looks as though itís been cleaned, you may also be able to tell by the smell.
    Good Luck!
