    Weird Noise?

    Hey i'm hearing like a little ticking kind of noise when u get off the clutch going very slow, either in first gear or reverse. sounds like its coming from the back. I don't know I was thinking of something in the driveshaft maybe.

    Could be the differential or maybe even a pilot bearing. Sounds like that are hard to identify by ear : /

    I've got the same thing. I think it came from the factory like that. I noticed it at <1200 miles and I was still breaking it in... never drove it aggressively by that point. I've also noticed it seems to kind of jerk the car a little when idling... put it in first and let it idle down a straight road and tell me if you notice the same thing. I was thinking about taking it in for service...

    Yeah, Mine does the jerking thing also. To me it seems that the engine is causing the jerking cause when you press the clutch it stops. Of course I'm no mechanic.

    My rear axle ticks as well - it is normal for these things I have heard horror stories of people having there rears rebuilt only to happen again several thousand miles later. A axle swap I think is the only real fix to a 12 bolt. I go by the golden rule don't fix it until it's broken. I have also tried to fix the leak in my rear axle new crush sleeve etc. Just started leaking again 5K miles later. I give up I'm just going to watch the fluid and run it till it grenades.
