I wish the interior plastic panels didn't look so cheap and I wish they had a hide away fuel door cover like the 1981 and previous models had behind the rear license plate or up on top near the deck lid like where some vets had it. I know it's pretty petty but I hate how that fuel door takes away from the smooth body lines of the car.

I know I just found that hidden cup holder! I just got the car by the way. The center console cupholder is completely retarded, I just throw spare change or the remote for the cd player in there. I also agree with that hump, pretty retarded. The window motors are patheticly weak. Other than that I guess I'm loving the car.

Someone said a few posts up that it's for the stock catalytic converter. Do the T/As have these too?

i think GM did an ok job... if they did more it would be in the area of corvette base price.... and they can't tread in that area..... but i believe alot of concerns can be taken care of by picking out good after-market or corvette parts... TA seat i like better then vettes.... vette covers fit nicely on fbodies motors.... torsen HD is a nice upgrade for the rear for autocross... a 12 bolt for the draggers......i love the 1le option and a head/cam longtubes does wonders

Doesn't look like much, but its a good size hump. I've heard some people say its annoying and what not in person, but I've sat over there when I drink and let my friends drive and it doesn't bother me at all....maybe cuz i'm 6'3 though.

The pictures show where I found this cool fix, you can go to the site but its not really needed. As you can see in the pictures you just need to buy a spring that piggy backs the stock spring. The spring is 5/8x2.5". I bought it a lowe's for 2.60. It really worked too!

thanks man. yea, it doesnt look like a huge hump, it looks like its normal height, with a valley in front of it. doesnt LOOK like much of a problem... oh well, if i buy one, i will never be a passenger in it

Thanks for the info, I've heard that fix works great.

Unfortunately, 98 F-Bodies, like my car, have a different system. No spring at all. Its a different style latch, so you reall can't do anything about it

I see where the majority of complaints come from, but some thing are just unreasonable or a matter of personal preference.

Can't say I agree with that. I think chrome vents look pretty rice. Especially on a stock car, with the only other chrome part being the wheels. The black inserts are perfect. If you want chrome, they are easy to swap out.

    2. The doors, they're so long, make em vertical opening.
They are long for a reason. Just about all 2 door coupes have long doors, if they didn't, the car would look dumb. The doors give an appearance of a low, sleek profile. Vertical opening?? Come on, its not a $250K Lambo, no $20-30K car comes with those.

Someone also complained about the weigh if the doors, they are heavy for a reason as well. They are a crucial part of the structure of the car, and in a crash, I'd rather have a 100lb door by my side instead of a 15lb tin metal door like come Korean car :eyes:

    5. Horsepower, give em atleast 400, maybe 450 and stronger internal parts.
Thats just not necessary, considering the price and competition. F-Bodies are still some of the most powerful cars you can buy for the price. If you want that much power out of a stock Camaro, you'll have to wait for the '08 model, rumors are they are supposed to be rated pretty high.

Its one thing to be unsatisfied with certain features, its another to just wish for random, unpractical things.
