Wants to burnoutttt but...
Why am I so scared of this 10-bolt going bye bye? And if it does go whats a 12-bolt go for 2,500? How much punishment can the 10 really handle?

Auto trannies aren't as harsh on the 10 bolt as manuals. The risk of destroying a 10 bolt with a manual tranny is much higher than an auto blowing the rear. $2500 is good ballpark range for a 12 bolt. If you can't afford another rear right now, I would not advise too much stress for that 10 bolt.

Spinning doesn't damage the 10 bolt. Hooking does.
Donuts could tweak the housing (same goes for a 12 bolt) and cause failure though.

Yeah I cant afford to replace it just yet. So maybe I should just avoid hitting 2nd and third too hard.
