Wanted to share my magazine article...

    ....on my WS6:

    http://www.highperformancepontiac.co...ws6/index.html

This was done last August (it was damn hot that day).

Anyway, my 15 minutes of fame are just about up...enjoy...

Also, here is a video I made of one of the passes that day:

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYWelixlaW8[/ame]

If you look closely, you can see me pass the photographer on my right. I think thats when they snapped the front launch pic..

    It's actually a 408". The block was a 6.0L iron block.

Also, it did run a 10.87 last November (3 months after that shoot)

It's been awhile since it's been on a dyno, alot has happened since then. Probably about 450-500 rwhp. It's no dyno queen mostly because of the Turbo 400 and loose stall, but it will put down some good track numbers..

Be honest. How upset/pissed/slightly upset were you when you saw 11.04 knowing they were doing an article??? Obviously awesome time especially on a hot day but somewhere inside you had to think DAMN .05 away from cracking 10's for them right??? Nice job!

Not really upset at all, it was my best time to date, and I knew it would run a 10.xx once the air got better later in the year..

Nice run and yeah must have been heartbreakin getting soo close but not quite there when doing that article. I 'm glad to see a car from the area in mt Mags though. Nice time all the same I home to see 11's later this year. Still need a stall, cam, and some heads. Maybe a 100 shot as well. My real intention is to get a forged block that can handle 200 or 250 shot with a mild cam for good street manners. My friend has a camaro with a big cam and it's got power but not as smooth as I'd like for a cruiser. Stalls when you turn the ac on. Still need some tuning but just rather have a smaller cam and smooth running car. I don't car about dyno numbers as long as it's around 420 rwhp the nos will take car of the rest on the few ocasions I'll actually take it out to Seally. I wanna get a helmet and see what it runs before the cam and stall so I can see a real improvment not just numbers on a screen. My friend had more hp on the dyno and a small stall was acheapo tht was in it when he got the car but my A4 was teaked alot better and my street tune for the fuel and timing was better than his dyno tune so every roll I always walked. A dig wasn't fair for him since I had better tire and wheel combo.
