Good question is it better to spend 300 for the volant or spend half of the $$$ on a lid and filter? and what about cars without the ram air?

the volant is made for non ram air cars. it seals up to the hood. it made 5 more rwhp than a lid so i say thats usefull.

So for that extra 5 HP its not worth it huh. So im just going to stick with Lid and filter. BTW would an SLP filter be better then K & N

I seen at some advance auto parts places down here where they have this machine on the counter where you switch between a K & N filter and a stock fram one. Then you turn on a switch it and it blows air through the filter and hits a ball to make it float. With the paper one it only made it half way through the tube but with the K & N it went all the way to the top and probably could of went more if it didnt stop there.
