VIN Help

Good afternoon!

I did a search, but I didn't find an appropriate thread to post this in...

I am about to hook up the trailer and drive 500 miles to pick up an 02 WS-6, but before I do I would like to know anything y'all can tell me about the car's history, and is it a true WS-6 by way of the VIN.

Here is the VIN: 2G2FV22G022155574

It has the proper hood and badging, but aftermarket wheels and exhaust so I need help identifying the car. The motor isn't stock, so looking at the under-hood photos doesn't help me...

Can one of you dealer types look it up for me?

I already paid for a car-fax, and that crap didn't tell me anything. It was in a minor accident in Sarasota Florida circa 2007, but the title is clean and not a re-build title... The RPO sticker is gone due to a lambo door mod, so I want to know if there is a way to tell if it is a real WS-6 via the VIN??? Could it possibly be an LS-3???

Any help you can provide would be appreciated!

The hood on that car is not an OEM hood.

How can you tell?

I haven't been able to pull the accident report (Florida Highway Patrol Report #FHPF07OFF021751, 6 Apr 2007), so I can't tell if the hood was part of that or not...

Is there a detail I am missing? I am looking at 3 different cars right now, and the hoods all look the same to me...

Seller is sending me a photo of the RPO sticker in the morning, but I can't sleep and want to make hotel reservations and such tonight...

Finally! I got the VIN check back this morning and everything looked good; a few minutes ago i got the photo of the RPO sticker... Gentlemen, she's real!
