I would go with the magniflow quad tip. Then you may think about getting a DMH electronic cut out also. Thats just my opinion tho...

First of all you posted in the wrong section. Well considering I have no idea what his car sounds like I can't say. Do you wan't loud and agressive, something that is just deep, or what? I think my set up might interest you, or at least something close to that. I have LTs, catted y with loudmouth catback. It sounds pretty awesome, I can post a video if you want btw it sounds much better in person.

Have you asked him what his setup is?
Trans Ams will not sound like Cobra's and vice versa.

Go onto ls1sounds and listen to the different set-ups. Also what are you goals with the car...exhaust tones change drastically once you add LTs, catted vs offroad Y, H&C...

I gotta say those 4V engines sound damn good with a bassani exhaust, they sure do scream at open throttle. Our engines on the oother hand seem to have a somewhat deeper tone, and you can get your car to sound meaner!
I have lt's,ory, and a borla xr-1 all in 3 inches.
Btw what part of texas are you from?

Another reason the Mustangs sound so good is they have true dual exhaust. Something hard to do on the LS1s. I've heard some real nasty sounding GTOs, they have true duals. Makes the Mustangs wet their pants lol. LS1 sounds helps, but hearing somebody else's setup in person is the best way to go.
