Yeah thats weird,back then nitrous wasn't an exact science and in the 70's we blew up many a small block,we were on first name basis with several local wrecking yard owners.

The restoration of the '69 was completed in January of 2012 and has since won itself quite a few awards. It is one of just 697 produced and houses a 400 cubic-inch Ram Air III engine cranking out 335 horsepower. The all-numbers-matching 4-speed manual Trans Am has been correctly outfitted with a nitrous system and date-coded parts.
