    2001 Pontiac Trans Am WS6

    Turning off pcm on air box tube

    Here it is speed.inc sent me the wrong lid and insists slp is the only one with a tube in thier box for the 2000-2002. I said give the right year and they said just to take out the pump. what should i do and how do i take the air bumb out of my pcm.

    Send it back, make'em refund if you're not happy with them.
    Buy a different lid from someone else if they won't help.

    Most people will simply install a small K&N open-style air breather to the AIR pump hose. You should be able to pick one up at a local auto parts store.
    Is this what you are referring to?

    There are photos online in the forums that show this. I'll do some searching to see if I can find any & let ya know if I do.

    Not sure what ya mean by taking the air pump out of the pcm tho, ...
