Maybe try adjusting your rubber stops. Theres one on each side.

check the spare tire and jack? Mine's got a vibration when the subs hit but i'm pretty sure its the plastic trim that covers the hatch itself.

beats me, short of using some sort of 'pad' to make a sort of buffer between the plastic pieces and the hatch. I keep saying i should fix mine but i don't.

all of the panels ive dealt with were held in with plastic 'christmas trees'. No bolts on mine.

Mine was rattling horribly recently. It was the driverside rear panel. I made sure it was in all the way and the rattle went away. Drove me nuts for a few days though before I figured out what was doing it. I thought that I might have screwed something up when I took my rear spoiler off. (to get a good waxing on the underside and where it attaches to the hood) I found out what was causing the noise by gently beating all the panels with a flat palm in the rear.
