    Trunk Rattle

Ok so I am driving and everytime I hit a bump I hear a rattling sound like the passenger door or truck isnt shut all the way. I dont know how many times I have pulled over and sure enought the passenger door is completly shut (especially since i slam it shut just to make sure) and that the trunk is completly shut.

Anyone else ever run into this or have any ideas on how to fix it?

    Thanks in advance

Yep, same issue here, its when you go over hard bumps the hatch seems to be making the noise. Also check to make sure your spare and jack are fully secure.

So were you able to fix it or are you stuck with it and just get pissed each time you hear it?

I have pinpointed mine to the seat belt retractors for the rear shoulder belts. The inertia aspect of those is loose, and can rattle over bumps. Sounds pretty metallic and clanky. You can check it by putting some tension on the belts by pulling them tight and then go over bumps.

My pass side is the only one which does it. I had it changed once, but still does it on certain bumps.

Mine had a similar noise after new shocks, etc I flipped the back seat down. The noise went away. I am not sure if it is the seatbelts or the latches for the back seat, however with the back seat down it goes away.
