    Trunk button won't work!!

I've got a 99 T/A M6 Vert, when i press the trunk release button i get the noise like it worked fine but when i got to open it it wont open. The key still work with it but i want to get the button fixed, any ideas?

I had to piggyback a spring on mine to get it to work. The stock spring was not quite strong enough. Install University has a write up on it.

Have someone gently pull up on the hatch when you hit the button. If it works then, than I'm sure it is the spring.

I dont remember exactly where I saw it. But I saw a fix for this problem somewhere. And it had something to do with putting a stronger spring on the hatch release.

I've figured it out, it was the an actuator in the trunk release mechanism.
