    Transmission - What to buy?

    My transmission just went out. At least half way anyways. Reverse, 2nd and 4th no longer work. Instead of spend 2K to have aamco "remanufacture" the stock tranny I would like to replace with a brand new street / strip tranny for around the same price. I have seen a TCI Streetfighter tranny on JEGS.com for 2100, but that is basically all that I can find. Any suggestions? I have not had any luck finding a transmission for this car.

    What about a Monster Transmission?

    I have been looking at EATMYSHIFT.COM they have what looks like a pretty good brand new transmission for under 1500. With a new Torque Converter and a warranty it should be about 2100. That is the same amount to rebuild my stock. Hmmm... I am definately leaning towards the upgrade.

    Has anyone heard of Monster Performance Transmissions?
