TRANSAMFORMATION:Decided to do the LS1 Conversion

A few months ago I picked up a clean 01 V6 Firebird, got a nice deal on it for the condition its in plus it has a rebuilt engine in it with less than 2000 miles on the rebuild with 2 years left on the remaining warranty, but the V6 isn't as fun as the LS1 V8 I thought about swapping it out then I canned the idea because of the price and labor involved, but recently I got a quote from a guy to do the full conversion and the price is lovely so I started looking for 99-02 Camaros & T/As immedietly im going to buy a wrecked car first I have a few on my auction watch list and the swap will begin i'll keep you guys updated bye bye V6 hello LS1 V8.........Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the TransAmformation

I Aint playing around I got seats for the car all I need is door panels

good luck, don't forget, all the drive train to include the drive shaft. Transmission cross member, pcm, wire harness, new dash gauge & K member.

    Also nose piece

There's more just touched the highlights.

IMHO I would leave the nose piece alone. I love the formula nose piece. Sleeper.....

Best of luck with the project. If you have a lift I would drop the body on the engine and trans.
