trans am door handles

not sure if the trans am have the same as the camaro so thought id post here. anyway i want to replace my outside door handles cause the paint is chipped almost off. down to the black. and i got some new door handles already painted was wondering if its very easy to do or if its even possible. thanks guys.

you'll need to take the door panel off and get your hands way up in there i'm guessing. should just be bolts that hold the handle to the door, and a long thin rod that is attaced to it with a little clip. but i've only replaced them on a 67, 79, and 92... so yeah, since i guess the 4th gen was started in 93. so should be simple. take photos for us.

It's not a bad job as far as complexity. But it is a royal pain in the a$$ if your hands are bigger than a 4 year olds! It's a very tight spot to get to, and you WILL want to wear long sleeves so you don't cut your forearms up. Good luck!
