    Trans Am Bird Light??

How can you make the bird on the front of your car light up?
I know you have to buy the clear plate but what are the processes?

Just wondering what would look like if you put your original cover in a vice and used a hand drimmel to cut out what you wanted to light up from behind with a small light source.

That point of painting over a clear front bird is so water is kept out. If you use the original, you make holes for water to get in. Also, with the holes, I don't think the filler would withstand highway speeds...it might break.

true! just seems like there would be a lot of creative ways to come up with some thing. Maybe after drilling out the bird put painters tape across the front fill the inside of the cover plate with a clear caulk.

just seems like a lot of work when there is a more effective alternative. I'm not even saying that b/c i want your money, i'm saying that b/c it could look like dog shit in the end.

LOL, kinda like when one member used Red electrical tape to coat the top of his car battery calling it a "visual mod"

How much do you charge for doing the front bird lit up?

You could tape off the inside of the cover where the bird is and paint everything on the inside. Then after thats painted you can take the tape off and use some tint spray to cover the bird so it isnt clear. Thats what I did and the bird looks black during the day and at night the led lights show through it fine.
