Traction Control and P0121 SES problem

Hello. I am a new member to this forum. I have a Black 1999 Firehawk Trans Am convertible (Car# CO99 for Firehawk fans) and look forward to checking out this great forum!

So while on my drive from Toronto to the Dayton, Ohio Trans Am Nationals this weekend, the TCS light came on while at 70mph a few times as well as the SES engine light. The error code I am getting is P0121 which means "Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Range/Performance Problem" from my ODBII scan tool. Not sure where to start with that one ;-)

I am assuming (and hoping) these two issues are related. Does anyone have any ideas. I am thinking it is some speed related sensor as the TCS light comes on after 60MPH. I checked the fuse for the TCS and it is good.

Yes, as mentioned, my code reader spit out the following for error code P0121which means "Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Range/Performance Problem".

Just to rule out the obvious: What size wheels/tires are you running?
