Traction Control - On all TA's?

Okay, here's the situation. I currently own a 2000 WS6 with a manual transmission. My TA has a "traction control switch" which is located just left of the cigarette lighter. This gives me the option to turn traction control off when I want to road race or just burn the tires for fun.

I am looking at upgrading my TA and noticed that not all the TA's seem to have this switch. I am looking for a 2002 TA.

Does this mean that Traction control is always turned on?

or

Does this mean that these cars do not have traction control and therefore no reason to have a switch to turn it off?

My concern is buying a car and then not being able to use it at the track or in otherwords spin both tires at the same time without the TCS kicking in.

Traction control is just an availible options for the F-body's, doesnt mean they all come equiped with it.

If it doesn't have the switch then it doesn't have traction control. Mine doesn't have it thankfully.

I don't have it in my a4 it came with the performance axle which was 3.23's instead, so than GM for doing something right now if it would have came with a better axle too I would have loved it.
