Traction control

My traction control button wont work. Traction control is of course on but when it is pushed it makes a clicking noise as normal. But no light turns on in the cluster to indicate it is off, and the light on the button its self is not lit up at anytime. Is there an easy fix to this or should I take it to GM?

Does the light come on in the cluster when you start the car....if not the bulb went out.
