    Tinted tail lights on Trans Am

    Just wondering if anyone has their tail lights tinted on their birds...if so could you post pics??? Prefferably if you have a black TA because thats what mine is...i want to see what it looks like before I do it to mine. Thanks - Brad

    Sorry haven't done any TA's. Only did my 3rd brake light. i did tint some taillights on a 240 sx that I installed a body kit and complete jet blak paint job on. Used some of the jet black in the clear and tinted the taillights so they matched. BTW the black i used is the same 8555 code on Fbodys and vette's so it will be an exact match for your car. That nightshade stuff is ok but I have found this leaves a much cleaner even look. leave me an email if you want any pics.

    Not for me.
    I can see a light tint looking okay, but otherwise I can't imagine covering up those tails. They look too good.

    this is true. i like the way that they look also and i only plan on puting one or two light coats on them..just enough to where they look like a smoked color, but where the red is still able to be seen through it...i don't want them to be completely black..
