time for headers
about a month or so from now im thinking about picking up some LT's for my car. I pretty much narrowed it down between HOOKER and QTP. I just have one question. Some1 told me that you cannot use hooker super comp headers on the street. There for drag use only. Is this true???? I also have a loudmouth... any feedbacks???? Im going with a catted Y, is that gonna be loud or will i have to swap to a traditionaly muffler and ditch the resonator.

Headers
If you are looking at the Hooker Headers you might want to look at the Jet- Hot Headers. I also looked at the Hooker super comp headers but I researched further and found out the Jet-Hot were better flowing Headers. The best Flowing headers are the QTP but they were more money than I wanted to spend. Basically I got the Jet Hot LT's with the Jet-Hot Y for the cost I would have paid for the QTP headers plus that was with the sterling coat. I guess the deciding factor for me was I don't drive in the rain or snow so I didn't think there was a need for the headers to be stainless. It also helped the Jet-Hot's were on sale (WS6.com). I looked at QTP,KOOKS, HOOKER, PACESETTER, and JET-HOT. I do like the way mine sound and the guy that installed the headers told me that was one of the easiest setups he has ever installed. It's just food for thought in making your decision.

why get jet hot when pacesetters flow just as well and cost less.

headers
I looked at the Pace Setters. I just didn't like the way they looked. They might flow just as well and you are right they are cheaper but all the people I talked with most went with KOOKS or QTP and as I said these (Jet Hot) were kind of "middle of the Road" for lack of better terms. Like I said before too it comes down to what you like. I was just saying what I do know the Hooker super comp headers are suppose to be not made as well as the Jet-Hots. The Hooker and Jet-Hots are made almost exactly the same except the welds are better on the Jet-Hots and they have the sterling coat. Once again just a thought thats all.
