These mods make a diffrence?
So i took my car to Car Tech the other day to have an estimate about a full exhaust...and he wanted to drive it so i let him and he said it felt quicker then a stock trans am which i thought it was.....so i called the guy i bought it from nd he said he had put in upgraded valve springs, a vette camshaft, higher quality piston rings, vette oil pump wit matching timing chain and gears......would that make any diffrence? I know some if not most of those are very minor mods but i was just wondering....and car tech mechanics only work on F-bodies....ne info is apreciated! thanks!

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Camaro Z-28 SS
Well if he is talking about a Z06 cam kit then yes it probably is a little faster and the gears, if you were talking about rearend gears will make it feel faster.
2000 SS #1827,NBM,A4,leather,t-tops,lid,eibach springs, hotchkis lca's,slp lid,slp cold air induction, slp loudmouth, baer brakes up front,13.11@107 on street tires,12.90@109 on dr's....time for the cam and intake to be installed

will make a little bit of a difference power wise, but the motor itself will be stronger internally, so you can throw alot more HP at it without breaking shit

I'm gonna guess he put an LS6 kit in it. So yes, better than a stock t/a. How much did they want for the exhaust and was that over the axle duals?
