No offense, but if you would rather your bird be a garage queen than a street machine like it was built to be, you need to find something else to collect.

LOL - Your right, that's why I take mine out at least a couple times a week for a run through the mountains. Trailer / Garage Queens just don't make sense to me. It's not like it's going to be worth more than what I paid for it in my lifetime. But...... You never know.

It may be like my '67 Camaro. Yeah it's worth more but, it took 30 years to get there.

But, I've had a lot of fun along the way. She's been beat on but, I just keep rebuilding her.

There won't be a 12 bolt, and certainly not a 10 bolt, because the new Camaro isn't going to have a solid rear axle. Its based on the Zeta platform, and will therefore have a fully independent rear suspention. Not sure what diff will be used though.

    Ahhh...well that's different.

Do you know the pros and cons of that setup?

Better handling? Is it considered stronger? weaker?

Would swappin gears be easier or the same?

Even better, look up topgear holden monaro on youtube. They abuse the hell out of that car just for the suspension and they absolutely love it.

Aren't the new Camaro's going to be IRS??

    If so...leave the 'Birds dead.
Actually...leave them down either way. I don't like the new Camaro, and something tells me I wouldn't like whatever GM would call the new Firebird either.
    Retro....not for me.

The reason I don't want the T/A to be brought back is because I bought it thinking it was going to be the last year.

I really doubt they will pick right up where they left off but wouldn't that be the shit, I think that would be a first in history. Screw the retro, here ya go, a T/A with WS6 option lookin just like it did in 02' only a 12 bolt option and an LS7...screw it...by that time...an LS8 with 32 valve heads and a forged bottom, for only cough...cough...$38,000.00

    SC'er optional...Have a nice day.

I just got my LS1 T/A yesterday and I'm amazed by the ease at which you can chirp the tires in 2nd gear with an A4...at half throttle no less!
