Doing a little original engineering... I don't know how many of you like the idea of ripping out the flip-up units, but after two new motors, one worm-gear, and three brass gears, I got tired of spending money on them. And the Breathless Performance kit is WAY too expensive (a THOUSAND dollars for a mix-n-match-shapes kit that's not even HID?? And the material they use is touted as "high-quality aircraft aluminum", but I can get the same material for less than $50 per square yard... I know, I work on jets). So, with a bit more custom fabbing, I'll have a completely original fixed kit with HID and projectors... for less than $600 cost to me. By the way... does anybody here do vacuum-forming plastics?

I made mine buy cutting out the back of the stock housing and installing it with a rubber grommet that i had at work. It was off one of my customers airplanes. The HIDs are from a bmw m5 and they are 6500k. They work great. Will post better pics of the lights on later. I have only 50.00 in the entire set up and around 3 hrs to make it all.
