honestly its more of a "status" thing. personally i just wanted the top of the line TA, i loved the hood, and saw no appearance things i wanted to change (which i would have on the TA, rims/hood). WS6 vs TA isnt really a huge difference other than a few minor performance and appearance upgrades, all which were previously mentioned. if you plan on keeping for a long time, i say go WS6 for collectibility and resale. if you just want a fun/fast car to tinker with, enjoy, and save some green, go TA.

Those 2 nasty extra nostrils on the WS6 that will make ricers run away.

    Revision:

An SS looks like it could kick your ass. A WS6 looks like it will kick your ass, then does. Next, it steals your girlfriend/wife!

My buddy has a 2000 SS with 6 speed, and he doesnt have a alum driveshaft.

And the hood is definitely sex. Ever seen the hoods shadow with the sun just coming up behind the car? Looks like a massive camel toe! Sex indeed.
If I didnt care so much for my car, I would have sex on that hood.

I know someone who in a drunken state had sex on the hood of his fathers cherry 77 Trans am 455. I passed out at his house too and awoke to the screams of a man who just realized his father is going to kill him. The hood was mad messed up

I said WTF did you do, his response "we had sex but we used a blanket." Yet another example of how abstinence is the only real safe sex lol

Get a regular TA and toss a hood on it. The rest of the crap it comes with will be replaced anyway. I got a aftermarket WS6 hood for $250. I really want a Raptor or Firehawk hood. The look much cleaner to me. I just ordered new springs, shocks, sway bars, so basically if I had a WS^ I would have thrown most of the parts away.
