TA add-ons and performance
I have a 2000 TA. I have cam work, 4:11 gears, 3500 stall, heads, air intake, and run on slicks. Im shooting 125 Shot and only running a 11.6 @ 119MPH. First is that a good time for all the work I have done and also do I need to do more bolt-on work. I have talked to others who have only bolt-ons that are running faster then me. What am I doing wrong? Also should I do the pulleys, injectors, and throttle body or not?

Cam work?
Specs on the cam?
Heads?
What heads?
You are running stock injectors?
What nitrous kit?

Not sure about the specs on the cams. I know thats not useful. I also meant hearders not heads. Heads are stock. According to my mechanice the stock heads are perfectly fine. Yes injectors, TB, and pulleys are all stock. Zex nitrous kit.

Do you have any suspension work done? That will make a huge improvement in your time. The pulleys i think you have to be careful with. Some guys put them on with no problem and others have horror stories. The TB and injectors would help tremendously i think. Which set up were you gonna run for a TB?

Well I just did the lower control arms in the rear and put a BMR Torque arm in. I have not run the car since i did the suspension work. I also have never run on a new set of tires so perhaps that why Im only running a 11.6. Im not sure what to go with for the TB. Ive heard many differnt things about them. Some say that it only changes the feel of the car and does not truly add any hp. Also I was thinking about replacing the radiator with a BE Cool radiator. It should deop the engine temp 20 deg. I noticed the car runs so much better when really cool. I have put in a new thermo and have the timing on the fans set to 160 deg.

The radiator would be an interesting way to go. I would maybe try something like an 80mm throttle body. It doesnt sounds like you need a 90mm plus the 80 is less $$$. I really like the BBK TB's. Another thing is just get out there and run it. See what it does with all the new bolt-ons. Experience is priceless

Any idea who tuned it?
And what the duty cycle is on those injectors at WOT?

Ya my mechanice tuned it. According to him there is nothing much more I can do to get my car faster without serious engine mods or a larger motor. I know I can spend thousands more on small stuff like TH, Injectors, pulleys, more suspension, but is it really worth it? I want the car in the 10's but is seems like adding 7-10 hp from a tb that alot of people say truly doesnt add any hp is worth the money. That is why I was thinking about the radiator bc I have seen first hand how the cars runs cool vs hot.

Injectors aren't a little thing if you are running out of fuel...
Do you know what software was used to tune it?

Nice time! 11.6 is as fast or faster than most 200k Ferrari's! Nice job!

Getting the launch down should really help you. Not saying you can't, just how you leave the line can make a big difference in drivers time. Are you running the 4:11 gears in the stock 10 bolt with slicks? at what RPM?

yes im runnin those gears in a stock 10. Well once again I just put lca in and torque arm in. SO i dont know what i will run now but that should help me. Also Im gettin ready to purchase new slicks. The ones I raced on were used so that also should help. I usually launch around 1800-1900 RPM. Depending on the psi in the slicks. Should I ty launching at a different rpm?

if you can hook up id launch higher rpm's, maybe around 3 grand??
