    T-tops

    I have a 1996 trans am and I need new t-tops since one is scratched up pretty badly. I have found a pair that are from a 1998. I know pontiac changed the trans am a bit after 1997 so does anyone know if the t-tops are the same size?

    Hey Jonathon...

    They are all the same from '93 on, 'til the last one in '02 and i imagine
    the ones you have found are a "proper" tinted glass but some
    are screen printed dots on the glass. Have to say this is not a version
    i'd consider.

    Also be sure that the matching key comes with your find otherwise
    you will not be able to lock them!

    Seems that there are small differences in the drip rail also.

    You should be able to swap the lock mechanism from your old top to the new one.
