If they were not the correct size you will know the first rain storm you're caught out in.

As far as the tint goes, no that is from someone getting a tint job. Most likely from losing the inserts that came with the car or like in my case, I tinted the tops so that I do not have to have the insert in all of the time.

in OPs picture the sky is really overcast so it makes everything look really dark, (look at the visor tint on the windshield, looks almost exactly like the tops).

I know on mine (which do not have extra tint) it's very hard to see through them from the top down. I still say OPs are factory, on the passenger side top you can even make out the line between exposed glass that looks into the car and where the top sits on the frame.

Agree. They look just like the tops on our car.

Factory T-tops have always been tinted @ least as far back as the first 3rd gens. when they were still made of glass..

    All 4 T-top Camaro's I've owned had factory tinted T's.

However those do seem darker than any I've had..

If you can remove one and take a pic of the underside and post it up..

That's actually not my car. It's for sale on line. I'm just trying to learn all I can about these cars so when I do actively start looking for one, in the Spring, I'll know what is original and what is not. I'd like to get a factory original car if at all possible.

focus on staying away from modded motors (heads, cam, intake). suspension mods like subframe connectors or new shocks, or simple things like tint (which are easily reversable) won't hurt you.
