    Swap an f-body rear end into a G-Body car

    Has anybody swapped an f-body rear end into a G-Body car like a Regal

    Would that be a downgrade, or a same-same as far as hardware and tolerances go?

    Unless the G body has an 8.5 rear (GN and some 442's), the G bodies use thte same 7.5 - 7 5/8ths that the Fbody uses.

    Better off getting a Strange or Moser 8.5 or 9 inch, with rear discs (if thats why OP wanted to swap).

    The best swap for the OE 10-bolt is the scrap yard.
