    suspension shopping list, approval needed

ok ive been looking around and reading alot on this sight and heres what ive come up with. Strano lowering springs from strano.com, there actually sold out...is there anywhere else i can get em? Ok for shocks i wanna go with koni single adjustables all the way around. Also i would like to get the UMI rear drag sway bar. The UMI double adjustable panhard bar W/ roto joints. (chrome Moly). And maybe a heavy duty torque arm. Tell me what you guys think

I agree with Cutlass, that should be your first suspension mod unless you have them already. Other than that, sounds like you will have a good set-up. If you're looking for more traction you may also want to consider relocation brackets for your lower control arms.

yes i want great traction off the launch....would relocation brackets screw up anything else that I listed above? meaning purchasing more parts or once i buy one bracket i have to buy relocation brackets for anything else?

I would do SFC first, shocks, then rear lower control arms. Then get into the springs, panhard, torque arm, sway bar.

I would suggest doing springs with shocks at once...so you don't have to take everything apart twice.

Fronts yes, rears really doesn't matter. Ditto on forgetting the STB too.

Drag bar in the back with Koni shocks doesn't make much sense to me.

    all sounds good to me.

let me know if we can help out.

also might want to save the STB for last or use that cash for something else.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I just had all of that done, I get to pick my car up tomorrow from the shop. I have Hotchkis springs and bilstein shocks along with Relocation brackets, sub frames, UMI panhard bar and poly bushings. You don't really need to get a new torpue arm unless you are going to build a serious drag car. Just change out the bushings to poly. Ill let you know how it drives, hopefully it flat out hooks now like my 98 did. Heads and Cam go in next month.

The ten bolts are indeed weak, but if you put the girdle on them and you arent making an insane amount of power they will last you. My 98 made 380 WHP and around the same torque and my rear end lasted 140K miles and is still going strong with no funny noises
