    Suspension recommendations

Ok, so soon I'm going to need to go in and replace -everything- in my suspension. Is there a kit that will cover all of that? I'm looking for a road/track suspension, that can hold the car solid in corners at high speeds.

    Any recommendations?

    Yeah,

There's a package available through SLP. Go to http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=70002 and check it out - Eibach Lowering Springs with Bilstein Shocks

I had something similar in my 98Z28 - but Granatelli Lowering Springs and SLP-spec Bilsteins

Personally, I'd just get everything individually and at least a single adjustable setup. Ultimately, I'd run full race adjustable stuff. Go with Spohn with your stuff and check out LMperformance for their adjustable springs. Koni SA's will be more than sufficient enough as well. That's my opinion though

Can somebody give me a list of all of the individual parts I'd need, and how many of them I would need? I don't know enough here to just go out and start haplessly spending my money.

Also, thanks for the advice Red, Raven.

the auto is great for dragging but on an autox you really want a stick. you dont want to wait on the transmission or have it upshift instead of holding a gear through the corner. but itd be pretty expensive to do the swap

It's a lot of stuff to do but here's a quick run down of a basic list

    - Lower control arms with dual spherical rod ends fully adjustable
    - Spherical Rod ended Panhard bar full adjustable
    - Ajustable Crossmember mounted torque arm with spherical rod ends, chromoly
    - Tubular lower A Arms
    - Tubular lower A arms w/ Spherical rod ends
    - Spohn Chromoly Sway bars front and rear
    - Tubular front K Member
    - Lightweight motormount bushing stands
    - Chromoly sub frame connectors
    - Koni or QA1 adjustable shocks

You can use this as a basic list, UMI sells this stuff as well and BMR. Check around. If this is mostly and auto x car, look into the rear coil over conversion as well and stiff springs

Hey it's Mike from Granatelli Motor Sports.

We have an overstock of suspension kits for f-bodies over here and have a few sales going on (check out my previous posts for singular item sales). All of our suspension upgrades are the following:

    GMS 1.25" Lowering Springs
    GMS Control Arm Relocation Brackets
GMS Lower Panhard Rod (adjustable and standars)
    GMS Upper Panhard Rod
    GMS Rear Control Arms
    GMS Engine Bay (Strut) Brace
    GMS Lower A-Arms
    GMS K-Member
    GMS Sub-Frame Connectors
    GMS G-Load Brace (driveshaft loop)

You may call in at (805) 486-6644, ask for sales, and tell them you talked to Mike about getting a price on our suspension products. If you are looking for just SFC's or LCA relocation brackets, check out my former posts.
