I have the UMI 3point bolt-ins as well. 2nd easiest mod I've done.

I do have a UMI on-car adjustable PHB though. Workmanship on it was second to none.

How much handling do you gain with the UMIs? I thinking of getting a GTO, and I want to have some track (not Drag) fun with it, if possible.
It's gotta be fast and sexy.
    93 Supra T 6spd,(1 of 197) 1K WHP build under way. Streetable!!!!!
94 Supra Turbo(1 of 549) 600 rwhp on pump gas. 700+ rwhp on race fuel.

When I did my 3 point bolt-ins (also did the infamous strut tower brace) I noticed some more solidity when launching. The car seemed to pull straight up instead of leaning to the side on take off. That could be the placebo effect, but it simply felt more solid. Cornering also felt more solid.

I bought weld in Boxed BMR's fit great but I added extra material where the gap is up front as shown in pic 3 by pv-camaro. UMI or BMR stuff is great it all fits well and works as it should.

same here... but instead of 3 point I have 2 point weld in's and also have the TSB. In addition I have the adjustable PHB and LCA with roto joints and full length TA with relocate kit to remove it off the tail cone of the tranny and Hotchkins springs. I took it to the track 2 weeks after I installed the PHB TA and LCA's and it launched damn near perfect. I always went straight and true.

Did you notice any difference in it once it was welded?
