No, not yet. Having probs with an oil leak. Plus I can't really get on it until I get a stronger rear end. Which leads us...

...Back on track. Nice find. I planned on salvaging and rebuilding a Dana 60 for a rear, but now this ideal is in my head. Hmmm

Just an LS7 clutch. i was planning to get the supporting mods first and then powertrain. However, I spun a connecting rod and blew 2 holes on my block so I was forced to get me a new engine. I also had to get me a more reliable DD so mods on the T/A just went to the back burner a bit. It's gonna take another year for me to hook it up some more. Plus doing this without a lift sucks. I wil go Dyno it next month. Right know, log runs on HPtuners will do.

so if i put 33 spline axles in my 10 bolt with an eaton posi it would be good for 450+? i guess i just didnt follow the article but i have seen an upsurge of "building the 10 bolt" lately at least around my town....

i guess i just dont see what you break...is it the posi unit that goes or do people usually break the axle? do people typically break them with shorter gears because of the smaller ring gear or....

yep the gears start whining first, then diff seal leaks and grinding noises... I say get a Moser or D60 and be done, holds 600rwhp easy.

I'm good until Novemeber. By that time I t should be registered out of state. I'll go to a test center soon to see where I'm at. I do have all emissions related parts installed.
