red with black strips- 2000 trans am ws6
straight pipes? lose or gain power
I have a 00 ws6 thinkin of doin straight pipes will I lose or gain power. Any opinions help

no you wont lose power, depending what you have now you might not gain any either.

Personally I would get the loudmouth2 resonators a little more expensive but no where near the rasp of lm1 setup if you have or get long tubes.

A few years back (around 2001) , Car Craft actually looked into the "straight pipe vs catt'ed" debate. They noted that with a good high flow converter design , you actually GAINED torque over a straight pipe exhaust. They mentioned that it actually "straightened" airflow (reduced turbulence) in the exhaust.
