will it be in a garage or outside? Will you be within walking distance to it, or will it be far away?

Wow, 6 months, thats crazy. I'm so glad I don't have to do that.

I think you should be fine as long as you start it often, if not then drain the fluids. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

Thats what i have done in the years past with my other cars, just start it up every week and sometimes in winter you get those weeks where it doesnt snow for a while and the roads are clear I take my car out for a 15 to 20 minute ride.

I love winter, not anywhere near as much as summer but i love winter, ice fishing, snowboarding, snowball fights, sex in the snow is a challenge and i like to challenge myself lol. The feel of the snow lightly brushing against your balls as you move in and out, GOOD TIMES

I have to do the same. I planned on starting it at least once a week.

some people go as far as setting them up on jack stands so as not to flat-spot their tires

I have heard of that but that doesn't mess up the suspension?

i don't see why...if you're supporting it from the frame?

I wouldn't set it on jack stands on the Fram. I have been told that it is not recommended for the suspension to hang for a long period of time. If you want to keep your tires from a "flat spot". Support it by the axels and lower control arms as to keep your suspension under a load.

Of course if I'm wrong, I will be corrected.

Yeah, thats what I was talking about. I can always be wrong but I wouldn't think just letting your suspension hang for 4-6 months straight is a good idea.
