stock rwhp numbers?
what are the RWHP numbers for a stock Trans am a4? because i put my car on at school it only read approx. 200hp. that seems insainly low to me but maybe im wrong..thanks

they usually run about 305 or so

isnt it supposed to be 305hp at the flywheel not he rear wheels?
it very well could have some problems but i know its not pushing its full potential becasue its slow as hell.. i ran high 14's and low 15's last year at the strip

its a V-8 alright.. its throwing some low voltage 02 sensor codes..the trans has some problems i know, its kind of hard to explain. it feels like it wants to shift, then changes its mind for a couple seconds then shifts, so it kind of jerks you around in the car..i was going to throw some different gears out back this year and get a tune but im thinking im just gonna waste my money if my car isnt running right in the first place

I had to do mine in 3rd gear and I put down 270 to the rear in a 99WS6 A4
the pic in my sig is the dyno I was on I believe it was a mustang dyno but all dynos read diffarent.

Ya you have some problems I had 280 something before I started swapping parts and the tune.
1998 Trans Am 85k miles.

My 00 put down 288rwhp.
And yes ceck the o2 sensors, maf, and iat sensor.

how much HP do you lose from the flywheel to the wheels? it was a mustang dyno. the teacher said i was probably putting 60-65% of my engine power to the wheels and when u did the math my engine had over 300hp. the thing that ticks me off even more is that i have a lid and a catback and im still down on the power

Yep, if you have an LS1 280rwhp should be the minimum. I've never really seen many people dyno less than 300rwhp with an LS1 let alone 280.
Have you changed plugs, fuel filter, wires, cleaned the maf lately? How many miles are on it? Something sounds very wrong.
