    Yeah, that was someone competent that I trusted. I have seen some local performance shops work, and wouldnt trust them to change my oil. Either way, that was the common price. I got a buddy with an alignment shop to do it for $450 and he installed the nitrous and set up a basic tune. I trust him to do it right.

    Either way the best option is still not a cam. Cam is no good without the rest.

    Well yea I know you need to make the engine breathe better before the cam but still thats a lot for just labor...

    I thought so too, thats why I didnt let them do it. But that was the lowest price I got. I didnt get replies from several places, but I got prices up to $850 from others. Either way, I got it all done for $450. That also included the valve springs, nitrous, and mild tune. And he has done countless extras for me since I got the car. He did my heads for $200. Great guy, but he claims he doesnt do performance work. Sooooooo anyway.

    do the damn cam yourself... your could do it... you and a friend.. it is isnt that freakin hard... and there are plenty of cam only cars that are plenty strong enough for just cam only... throw it in there and run open headers... lol... ive seen 400 hp cam only cars....

    I evidently got a slow WS6 M6 and a shitty track, but I can't get past a 13.8 @ 103 and 5 different drivers haven't been able to get my @#$%ing Toyo Proxes to hook up at any RPM. But the mustang guy is probably full of shit, they all are, and you will smoke him. Fox bodies are ugly as hell anyways and who cares who wins, you'll look better losing than him winning if that did happen anyways.

    do the "free mods" to ur t/a and race him.. its a 5.0 they can be fast if they have aftermarket heads .. with out them they suck ass i might have a lil bit of low end but a ls1 any thing has a power band up at 4750 rpm and up
