    auto's 3.23 man 3.42 i guess if you have access to a gm data base to answer your last ques.

    there should be a rpo code sticker inside of your door...on the jam part. it should be the bigger one with more numbers/letters on it. examples are AR9, CC1, GU5 etc...i dont think gm puts all the codes on this one sticker since the rest of the options are standard equipment for the most part. i think theres a couple more places where the rpo sticker is hidden...i dont know where tho.

    go to a gm dealer, give them your vin and someone will print out the record of your car. itll be 3 pages or so with where and when your car was built and the options the car was equipped with.

    If its a true WS6 auto it can only have 3.23's. A manual, regardless of whether it is a base T/A or WS6, has 3.42's. Base model automatic T/A's will either be 2.73 or 3.23, you won't know without checking the RPO code on the door sticker. As stated earlier
    GU5=3.23 and GU2=2.73.
