Stock 1/4

Hello all I am new to this site, hope you guys are at least some what srt friendly. Anyways I joined the site because I have always liked the trans-am/firebirds, and now thinking of maybe buying one. If I do end up getting one it will be a black or blue 00/01 ws6. My quastions are, what are you guys with stock ls1 ws6's runing in the 1/4. I have heard mid 13 stock? 1/4 with a few bolt-ons? And also what are the whp/tq numbers?

manual 6 speed 01-02 cars put down 300-310 rwhp stock.....these cars will run very low 13s to a few guys that are great drivers in the high 12s ....few bolt ons and sticky tires and 12s can be had easily..theres a guy on here with a lid and cat back running 12.7...belive thats all he has for mods but dont quote me on that........basicly u could expect 13.0-13.5 out of a 6 speed car and 13.2/3-13.6/7 out of an auto..depending on the driver/track/ and the car itselt

98-00 cars put down about 10 less rwhp..diff intake..maybe 1 or 2 tenths slower quarter

mid 13s is normal for all LS1 F-bodys.
just a few bolt on mods and youre in the 12s.

completely stock m6 00 ws6 i ran 13.44 and am planning on getting a lid and full exhaust. that should put me in the mid to high 12's.

I live in washington state... and the Seahawks arint looking to good right now. Although im a chiefs fan, I lived in kansas for a few years...they looked to be doing alright against the chargers, untell the blocket punt and then it went down hill

Anyways, I have not ran in the 1/4mile yet, with street tires I would hope for mid 13. I have seen low 13 with street tires but I dont think im that lucky, even better with a set of slicks. I will try and post a copy of dyno sheet tomorrow or in the next few days. My mods are, Mpx 3" o2 housing to full 3" turboback with no cat, and stage2. I also have a agp waste gate, but its not on the car yet. Car pulls hard when I can get the tires to stick the the road.

Ha Ha, well if you do get a T/A and even with a few mods you will have even more troble making the tires stick to the road lol its an on going battle, adding hp and putting it to the road successfully

i have a 99 trans am w/ a catback and a k/n filter. i raced an srt that "supposedly" had 20 psi of boost and quit abit more mods. long story short i won 3/4 races only race i lost was from a 40 mph start. all others won be atleast 2 cars.

I too ran an SRT4 with stage 2 upgrades, the only time I didnt take him by 4-5 cars was from a 40mph roll, 40mph roll is excellent for the SRT4 due to the RPM they are at when riding 40mph, still got'em by a car though. I was still impressed either way. Quicker than I thought he would be.

Don't forget that the '98 cars had a more aggressive cam than the 99+ cars. That makes up for some of the difference that the LS6 intake manifold gives the 01-02 cars.
