The dealer might have them in stock. I'm sure they are still using it in new columns. If not, get the part number and head to GMDirect.

Edit: I just checked a PDF I have with part numbers, and those pins are listed as:

N.S. Pin, strg col piv (kit2*)

Doesn't give a part number, and I'm not sure what the N.S. means.

I think NS means not serviceable....meaning its not available by itself. It comes in a kit with who knows what. The GM Parts catalog will show what the kit comes with.

I took a quick look last night on GM Parts Direct and was not able to locate a P/N for the pins. May need to go to a specialty vendor, find a used column, or hit the boneyard for a replacement.

I had a feeling it wouldnt be a single part for sale, probably in some kind of rebuild kit.

Why didnt i think of that?!?!? Basically all the GM columns are the same correct? Then it shouldnt be too hard to find one.

I ended up getting the part from a local napa, then i went up to the junkyard and just about every decent GM car had a tilt steering column so i popped the left side of the blinker cover off and snatched me 3 pins all for 2 bucks! Today i finally had time after work to get it all together and it works like a charm! Thanks guys for the help seriously though thanks jeff because without those videos it would of took me a lot longer to do.

I had the EXACT same thing happen on my 96 Grand Am. And now on my WS6. UGH. It seems like the hole is worn out. I popped mine back in. Everything's good for a little while. Then I find it on the floor. Take it all back apart, and put it back in. It's a vicious circle.

Glad to hear you got it together. I wish I had a junk yard here. We have recycling centers, that strip the cars and crush them within days of getting them. Then they charge you dealer prices for the parts.

Maybe you could try putting some sealer or loctite around the pin and see if that holds it in better

After working on countless steering columns, I'm convinced the only thing that holds them together is the gallon of grease coating EVERYTHING.
