I have to admit that I have always been a mustang guy. I presently have two, a 96 Cobra with bolt ons and a 95 GT with a 410 stroker and a C4. That all changed when I found a 98 Firebird for sale a couple of days ago with 60k miles and absolutely perfect interior and black paint. To name a few of the modifications it has a full BMR suspension, Baer Eradispeed rotors on all four corners, built Moser 12 bolt rear with 4.10 gears, built 4L60E with Yank converter, 383ci LS1 with a Lunati knife edged steel crank, Manley rods, and J.E. pistons. To top it all off it has a polished T Trim Vortech with aftercooler. It makes 693 RWHP. It also has a ram air hood and polished torque thrust II's 17x10 rear with drag radials and 17x9's up front. You can sneak up on anybody in this car. It is on a truck being delivered to me now.
I have never driven an LS1 but I have raced many, now I guess I have gone to the dark side. I think I stole it for $13,500. Let me know what you guys think.

Welcome to the board! Yeah, I'd say you literally stole that car. The parts alone EASILY total more than what you paid. Is it a Firebird? Trans Am? Formula? Post some pics of that beast! Either or, Congrats and Welcome. I do not think you will be disappointed with the 'dark side' Ha. I'm jealous of you.

Quick question. Honestly, which car looks better?

I love my cobra but I think it will be up for sale soon. The F bodies look better but are alot harder to work on.

We'll there are PLENTY of people on here that are more than willing to help with any install questions... But damn it looks like you won't be doing too much work on that car. Pretty much built.

nice car man. i was same as you, i was always a mustang person from since like 12. then i drove my dads t/a a few years back and now im hooked.. good deal on the car. my 02 T/A cost that with no mods what so ever.

I can't either. I got it from an older guy with alot of money and toys. I don't know much about these cars as far as how rare a hardtop is.

Nice find, but before you go beating on the car too much, have the tune looked at.
I learned that the hardway with my old 03 Cobra.Thought it was good, but it wasn't

if you want i have the rear hatch off a ta glass and hatch are good wing has a small chip but it can be fixed easily if you want. ill take $150 plus shipping if you want oh yeah its red so it will have to be painted but your car is black so you dont have to blend. pm me if intrested. i can send pics. tim

great find man. but besides the sound of the vortec and engine the after market hood and wheels may give away your sleeper.

Yup, that things been on there for a while actually. Im surprised it turned out to be a legit setup. I was having doubts whether it was a for real car or not when I saw the FI setup. Congrats on the grab tho. WELCOME TO THE DARKSIDE!!!

Have you received the vehicle yet?? Great buy if its legit.
