If we all go by KBB our cars arn't worth anything. There's something call supply and demand with these cars..which is why 90% of them sell for 15-20k

ummmmmmmmm ok i found a pewter LS1 2002 with 17000 miles on it for 9000, and that is a steal

unfortunately it has a bent cross member
T-top leaks
Steering wheel is a lil off
and it makes a wierd noise when being maxed out

BUT its ok because i still bought her and am happy to fix her up
so i THINK i got the steal of a lifetime.

i wouldnt call a fixer uper a steal....by the time u get done wit fixing it up it might end up costing u more than 13500....depending on wut the weird noise is.....that could be a serious issue....steering wheel is off a little? wut do u mean by that the alignment is off?.....and a bent cross member would lead me 2 believe the car has been in an accident....or hit something hard......this car is in MINT cond.....nothing wrong with it and who knos how many more headaches ur guna run into

hhmm...damn I recently drove that far to buy my 94 formula...twice.

but I am quite happy to have entered the LT1 scene for a good price. I think it will have to wait a few years before I upgrade to LS1.

as long as I still have the fever.

its not as bad as you think, its never been in an accident and the guy who drove it was................lets put it nice............ HUGE! haha yea the farting noise that i hear is from the bent cross member and it only happens when i back up. and the steering wheel is what i dont know how to fix. to drive straight the wheel is turned like an inch to the left. maybe some ajusting. beats me. and the cross members are like 200 bucks from a junk yard so i sould be fine 11000 at the most.

My steering wheel was like that after the firebird i used to have fish tailed in bad weather and tore up the front bumper and frame cap on a curb. All i had to do to fix it was get the cars front end realigned

ya ur alignment is off if the car is pulling off....u could have a bent tie rod.....

How bad is the crossmember? Did it pull the front frame rails down upon impact and that is why the T-tops leak now? How does the front bumper fit to the hood? IS it hard to close? Alignment will fix the steering wheel.

Naww not off topic. but yea if you look close enough you see that my car sits a lil higher on the right then on the left. the T-top leaks cause it has bad weatherproof stuff but that can be replaced. and when i took my car to see how much it would cost to fix cross members they wanted to charge me 1700 to fix it..... SCREW THAT
