    I have a 2004 WS6 TransAm.

My problem is the car will not start. The starter engages and the engine attempts to start but just turns over.

Plenty of battery power and the car will continue to try and crank if the key is turned. I know the VATS deactivates the starter circuit so I am assuming the VATS is not the problem.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions why the car will not start???

I take it you mean you have a 2002 T/A? And you still may have a problem with VATS. But you could also check to see what kind of fuel pressure you've got at the rails. You should see around 58 psi.

It could be no fuel pressure or maybe the "Ignition" relay is bad. That relay supplies power to the fuel injectors and the ignition coils. Try swapping it out with a different relay in the fuse block.

    Your Right

It is a 2002 WS6 T/A. Thinks for the info. I will try checking fuel pressure and relay this afternoon and let you know.

That's why it won't start, the 2004 was a very special edition that times out in March of 2011 lol.

Seriously, I'd be thinking it's a fuel pressure problem also.
